Khalid Al Marri leads the UAE business and is accountable for the standard clients experience from initial route selection through to licence, banking readiness and ongoing obligations.
The UAE is fast to enter and expensive to correct, so his focus is on decisions that still need to make sense two years later: the right authority, the right activity set, the right structure and the right sequencing before anything is filed. He would rather slow a matter at the start than ask a client to unwind a poor decision after the business is already live.
His measure of the team is simple: whether the position explained at the outset remains workable at banking, at visa stage and at first renewal.
